The Lucera concession is located in the province of Foggia in the Puglia Region.
7 wells have been drilled in the concession area: Bastia 1, Bastia 2, Reggente 1, Reggente 6, Reggente 9, Reggente 10, S. Caterina 2. All of these wells are open and capable of production with the exception of the Reggente 9 well, which is open but not production ready.
Production is currently suspended due to problems relating to the transportation of natural gas production from the concession.
Zenith acquired a 13.6% working interest in Lucera in 2013. The Company is in discussion with its production sharing partners in order to address the transportation problems affecting the concession with the objective of restoring commercially successful production activities.
The cumulative production until December 31, 2016 has been assessed at approximately 39.77 BCF.
In the most recent reserves assessment, carried out in March 2017, the remaining proven natural gas reserves (2P) have been assessed at approximately 1.11 BCF.
